When Devin Hester and Greg Olsen are you're "go to" guys on offense, this is a problem.  Earl Bennett, the wide-out from Vandy is unproven.  The Bears have a guy whose last name is Iglesias.  Maybe he is related to the singer.  At any rate, he looks speedy.

The Bears finally have a QB who can make plays and throw ball with accuracy.  The Bears haven't had this type of QB in many years. At least in modern day football.  Cutler has a bona fide strong arm and can move the chains in a hurry.  That hasn't happened in eons.  Now, they need players who can run a pattern and catch the ball.  When you have Hester, a man who is learning his position week by week, as a starting wide receiver, you have a personnel problem.

Why is it that once you have a QB you have a deficiency at wide receiver?  This needs to be remedied as soon as possible.

It was a time where we did not beleive in to....much activities from the "Gator" yet it came to reality. After ...and they did! So, it is time to embrace the fact that we have a team in Jacksonville and we must show them ou rSupport.  I am wondering about our Team, and so what. as I see so many with a lot of skills, at the same time, it gives more thrill to support our Team. Loose or Win, we mus Stand Strong and Beleive that one Season We Will Win as a Team, As Fans, As a City that stands by our Players. Remember. we learn from our mistakes, that they are small or big.  I deeply feel that when we will show everybody that we care for our Jaguars, our Team in Jacksonville, things will have a tedency of changing. Our Team will work so much harder to please, Us, The Jacksonville Fans and the enire Population. Talk is cheap, action is clear. Let's make a difference in our City of Gold, Let the Jagauar play their heart out, and prove that We In Jacksoville, will be chearing out Loud for them. Fans!...Let's show them!... The Yankees lost to the Nationals tonight. That is not that glaring of a problem, because they will still be right there in September and October. The Yankees have the pieces to get the bat that their lineup seems to be missing. I know that Xavier Nady is hurt and he was supposed to be the right handed power, protecting Posada or Cano. But there might be a need to look close at Holliday. Matt that is, he could do serious damage in the new Yankees stadium. He can be the rental that pushes them over the top. Johnny Damon and Hiedki Matsui come off the books. They can resign Matt and still have a smaller payroll than they do this year. I just think that A-Rod is looking human, and without his added energy boost for the dog-days of summer these men play through. They have some young pitchers a

John Sterling has been the radio personality for the New York Yankees for the past 15-20 years. His most popular call is when the Yankees finish off an exciting victory. He says, "Ballgame over. Yankees win! Thhhhhhhheeeeeeeee Yankees Winnnnnnnnnnnnn!" But what about when a Yankee hits a home run? He's come up with a few cool ones. Which one is your favorite? To see what it looks like from the booth, check this out!

Mariano Rivera is approaching 40. Retirement could come any year now. What are the Yankees' options? How about a switch pitcher? That's right. His name is Pat Venditte and he pitches both righty and lefty. You thought it was confusing enough with switch hitting. Rick Reilly wrote an interesting article for the May 18 issue of ESPN the magazine. According to the article, currently he's still in the Yankees farm system, pitching for the Single-A Charleston Riverdogs. Venditte's parents saw that he was doing everything both right-handed & left handed, so they fed it. His hispanic teammates call him "pulpo" which means octopus. I imagine it's because of the way he switches from 1 side to the other depending on whether the batter faced is righty or lefty.

Check him out warming up for the Staten Island Yankees:

Here we are less than 100 days before the start of the 2009 college football season and it's time to break down the Texas Longhorns.

What we know about the Longhorns:

The Texas Longhorns are primed for a run at the national championship. With QB Colt McCoy returning for his senior season after breaking the record for completion percentage in a single season last year with a ridiculous 76.7%, topping Daunte Culpepper's previous record, the Longhorn's passing attack should be lethal. Texas graduated receiver Quan Cosby but return star receiver Jordan Shipley, along with Brandon Collins, James Kirkendoll, and deep threat Malcolm Williams. The running game was questionable at best last season for the Longhorns, but look for 240 lb. RB Cody Johnson to bring some consistency to the position, as he had a great spring before tweaking his hamstring. Fozzy Wittaker provides a great change of pace back to compliment Johnson, as will RB Vondrell McGee. FB Antwann Cobb is back from his injury and flashed some great blocking in the spring game. The O-line should be a strength for the Longhorns as they are a very mature group with a lot of experience. Pass blocking hasn't been an issue; however, one of the goals of the spring was to improve the run blocking and bring some "nastiness" back to the O-line. The Defensive side of the ball looks to improve this season after leading the NCAA in sacks last season. The Longhorns lost All-American DE Brian Orakpo, stud DT Roy Miller, and DE Henry Melton to the NFL draft, but they return DE Sergio Kindle who recorded 10 sacks last season and was a nightmare off the edge for offensive tackles and opposing QBs. Lamarr Houston and Kheston Randle should handle the both the DT positions but depth is a concern. The DE position should be stacked with Sergio Kindle, Sam Acho, Eddie Jones, Russell Carter, and freshman Alex Okafor all competing for playing time. The Longhorns are stacked at LB as well with seniors Roddrick Muckleroy and Jared Norton returning, along with speedy OLBs Keenan Robinson and Emannuel Acho. The big question mark last year becomes one of this year's biggest strengths. It may be one of the most athletic defensive backfields manned by secondary coach Duane Akina, just behind the 2005 all star cast. Look for CB Aaron Williams to be a breakout player and lead the team in INTs, as he has incredible ball skills. CB Chykie Brown will be a lock-down defender at the other CB spot while Curtis Brown and Deon Beasley provide good depth at the position. At the safety position the Longhorns return both of their starters in freshman All-American Earl Thomas, who had a great spring, and Blake Gideon. Look for hard hitting S Christian Scott to get a lot of playing time too, as he is just too physically gifted to keep off the field.
