New day, soon to be new Bulls?

I have been a little busy these days and haven't been able to post. But I have been watching and it was nice to see a win where lots of younger players got playing time and they shot well. It also seemed like the team as a whole got along and were playing as a team. I have always been an advocate of a team playing as a team versus one big superstar leading the team the whole way. So it was nice to see.

Tonight should be an interesting game. The Warriors are team that has a huge upside and can give some really good teams a run for their money. But they aren't always the most consistent team, so we'll see what happens tonight.

Another major issue coming up is the trade deadline. As usual, there are lots of rumors swirling around. There are plenty of possible trades out there, but what can actually help the Bulls? Just getting a big name at the expense of some their possible young, key future components to win right now probably won't help them. You also don't want to just sell what you can to get the big name. The Bulls need a low post presence that can rebound consistently, hustles and can score high percentage shots regularly. That alone might change the whole team. But if they are able to get a bigger name without selling the potentials we have now, go for it.

I am not much of a rumor spreader so I am not going to make any predictions. But if they can find someone to take Ben Wallace from the Bulls and can get something in return for him, I say go for it. He has not delivered anything of what anyone thought he could. And he always seems  to have some sort of coaching issue going on with him. That to me is an addition by subtraction situation. Hopefully John Paxson is working hard to come up with something. If he's not, he is really not honest about the current situation.
