Can the Bears win a championship this year? And if so, what do they have to do?

The Bears need to stay healthy. They need a running game. Hopefully, their 2nd draft pick steps up and earns a starting role. I was listening to a radio intrerview with Lance Briggs on ESPN Radio and he said the Bears need to establish a running game.  That's the deal. If they do, they will eat up time on the clock, let the defense rest, and let Grossman pass more effectively. Grossman has to feel relaxed. He needs to re-establish his confidence as a winning starter QB. He needs to cut down on his mistakes. Interceptions are part of the game, but don't throw one on the 8 yard line.  If The Bears find someone who can be a guy who can run tough with the ball, and not fumble it away, they have a decent chance to do some real damage late in the season.

The Bears are going to have to stick with one guy at QB.  Orton is the guy right now.  If they leave him there and keep with the chemistry that we saw against Indy, this season will be more than solid.  Grossman is a solid QB to have as a second string (as long as he can stay focused and not get down on himself).  The recieving is good, and who knows what good things are to come now that Hester is getting incorporated in a much more key way.  The running game looks to be solid.  Forte had a great game last week (set a first half record for e Bears rookie).  All other backs are not really a step down.  I believe the bears line up to be solid all the way through and if they stay mentally focused and use what they have, there's no limit to what the season could be.

The defense has to score and give the offense a short field week in and week out. They have to thrown the offense on thier backs and carry this team. How the defense goes is how the season goes.
