Sox Season On The Brink

Unless the Chicago White Sox start hitting soon, this season will be history.  The ChiSox lost to the Ynakees 3-2 on Monday night.  Alexei Rodriguez accounted for all the offense when he hit a 2-run homer off C.C. Sabathia to make it a one run game.  But scoring one run for these ChiSox is like closing the debit ceiling.  Kind of hard.

It's painful to see Adam Dunn KO three more times.  He is becoming a hitless wonder.  You wonderf if he can get a basehit.  Apparently, no one in the White Sox organization wants to send him down to the minors.  He's the one with a big contract.  Why not retune?  The man needs a calm place to discover his swing.

Paul Konerko missed the game due to a sore leg when he got nailed on a BoSox pitch.  Hopefully he'll be back soon, because he seems to the the offense.  The White Sox lost their hitting touch.  Jake Peavy pitched well, but Sabathia was a bit better.  This was a tough homestand.  The Sox played well vs. the Tigers, and then had to face the two best teams in the American League.  At this point, the White Sox aren't ready for prime-time or the post-season.
