The Chicago Bears are coming off the bye week with a Monday Night game vs. Philadelphia on their turf in a key NFC matchup. If the Bears have any hope of a Wild Card spot, they must win this game. The Bears need to play sharp for the entire game without costly penalties or turnovers. They need to corral Michael Vick and keep him under control. If he explodes, the game is over.
The Bears need to control the clock to keep the ball out of the Eagles' hands and that would fall on Matt Forte to have another excellent outing. Forte is emerging as one of the top NFL performers per carry. Jay Cutler needs to be a viable option, not the answer, as the Bears seek to go 5-3 after a 1-2 start for the season.
The Bears can win this game but need to play well. This doesn't seem to be a win ugly game--not with the vaunted Philly offense ready to rack up ooints and the Bears playing matador D on defense. It should be a good game, and the defense must come up with stops for the Bears to be competitive.
