Bears Fall To Raiders, 25-20

The score of this game 25-20, is misleading.  The Bears were down 25-13 when they scored their last TD.  It is hard to imagine a player who hasn't played in a game all season, to come out and play well.  Caleb Hanie had the jitters early on in the game, and eventually settled down and led the team.  He threw three interceptions and two TD's.  The INT's defintely hurt the Bears.  One was nearly returned for a TD.  I think next week he will look better.  And, in two weeks, you will see noticeable improvement.  It's just that Hanie is learning his new role as the Bears try to clinch a playoff berth.  Yeah, it's learning On The Job.

The defense held the Raiders to 6 FG's by Sebastian Janokowski.  The Bears played tough defense, and that should have been enough.  However Matt Forte didn't get his 80-105 yards on only 12 carries.   If Forte can hit that 85 mark, the Bears have a better chance to win.

Bears, you are close.  Tighten up on those parts that needs tightening.  You guys can do it.
