Bears Waiting for Michael Vick and Eagles

The Chicago Bears beat Miami 16-0, for it's third win in a row and propelled them to a 7-3 record.

The Bears sit atop the Divison leading Green Bay by a half game.  This is getting pretty heady for Bears fans.  The team is taking advantage of breaks.  The Dolphins started their third string QB, Tyler Thigpin and their best receiver, Brandon Marshall, went out of the game with a leg injury.  So, the Bears stopped the rush and the pass, and shut-out hapless Miami on their turf.

One has to look at them as a improving team.  Their offensive line is holding its own, and was able to establish a running game, which trook pressure off of Jay Cutler.  Cutler threw one interception in this game, which didn't come back to biite him.  The Bears need to improve their passing game if they really want to be a quality team.  But they have been getting the job done by playing good defense, running the ball, and moving the chains.  Oh, throw in a punt return by Devin Hester and you have a Bears offense.  Hester is a game changer any time he touches the ball.

Chicago has a 9 day wait between games, and doesn't play on Sunday.  But next opponent is the Eagles who is led by Michael Vick, who may be Comeback player of the year.  The Bears face a very good team,  We'll see how good this team is when they lineup against Philadelphia.
