There is a lot riding on the Chicago Bears - Green Bay Packers game on Sunday. If the Bears win, they could possibly end up top seed in the NFC. And, who would have thought that a month ago? If the Packers emerge victorious, they will make the playoffs as a wild card. All of this against the backdrop of one of longest and bitter of rvials square off. This is the NFL's version of two ancient Greek city-states who don't like each other.
Is is hard to image the Bears taking this game lightly. The Packers need a win to get in, that's the deal.
Hopefully, the Bears can show their mettle in what will be a cold Lambeau Field with rabid Packers fans. The Bears, 11-4, for the year, have had luck and are hot, winning 7 out of 8 games. This is a good Bears year and we would like to usher in the new year with a win over the Pack. In order for that to happen, The Bears are going to play their "A" game, a game in which they have to rise to the occasion. This is playoff football before the playoffs. Is the team up for the challenge? We'll find out Sunday.
