While that is something that is needed, I still think that Aaron Gray, Tyrus Thomas and Thabo Sefalosha need to get some more consistent time. Joakim Noah has seemed to find some consistency to his role and now its time for the others. I am not saying they eed to dominate playing time, but more consistency to the types of minutes and roles might actually help the develop into higher caliber players.

The Bulls held a couple of 9 point leads at various points, but that was the biggest margin.

Aaron Gray and Joakim Noah are starting to see some more playing time under Jim Boylan. Gray seems to spell Ben Wallace now and Noah is out there at random points with both. The nice thing is that both are starting to contribute. Gray had some tough baskets underneath and is looking to score when the opportunity presents itself. That is a much needed change of pace in the center position given Wallaces penchant for standing there looking stupid when a shot is right in front of his face.

Another interesting personnel move is giving more time to Aaron Gray. While he is still a rookie and has a big learning curve, he offers the Bulls a change of pace in the low post. He offers them a possible scoring threat along with someone who changes the way they play. By actually drawing defenders to the paint because he can score high percentage shots, the Bulls perimeter game has gotten a much needed resurgence. He is not the final solution, but he helps to change the Bulls game.

The Bulls got a look at what is possible out of a big man against the Washington Wizards. Aaron Gray showed a great presence in the paint. He scored. He rebounded and he accomplished something that has truly been lacking in the Bulls game. Gray got the ball in the middle and passed the ball to the outside for the shots the Chicago Bulls are used to taking.
