Chris Johnson

wo things: fighting back to finish 8-8 after an 0-6 start (thanks to the return of Vince Young) and Chris Johnson's 2,000 rushing yards. This year's Titans are coming back with three rookie wide-outs in camp, looking for someone to add alongside Kenny Britt, Nate Washington and Justin Gage. Left tackle Michael Roos had a break-out season in 2009, helping Johnson reach the 2,000 yard plateau.

Go figure.

-Tennessee's Chris Johnson eclipsed the 2000 yards plateau in a win over the Seahawks. Congrats.

-Cleveland ended its season with a fourth consecutive victory, giving Mike Holmgren reason to ponder keeping Eric Mangini on as head coach.

Even Chris Johnson’s near 300 yards of offense couldn’t save them. Texans could be on the rise, but give it a week or two, then pass judgment.

ved their ground game (as LenDale White just wasn't an every-down back) and thus drafted the speedy Chris Johnson, who has provided a spark to their offense as a threat to score on any part of the field...

The Titans have a great running back tandem in Chris Johnson and Lendale White, but the Bears’ defense ranks sixth in the league against the run. Conversely, the Titans haven’t been forced to pass the ball to win, so their offense ranks 29th through the air. That’s music to the Bears’ ears, since pass defense isn’t their strong suit, ranking a lowly 30th. Corner Danieal Manning looks to return this week after missing time with a hamstring issue, but safety Mike Brown is still questionable with a calf injury. Brown sat out Wednesday but was limited on Thursday, leaving his status for Sunday still up in the air. Linebacker Hunter Hillenmeyer is still questionable with a thumb injury, so look for Nick Roach to fill the void on the strong side. Injuries or not, this defense has to start producing to the level of their income, or expect to see drastic changes during the off-season.

Just give him some time.
•    East Carolina’s Chris Johnson has been getting some buzz by the Bears camp, too, with similar attributes of speed and explosiveness. Larry Mayer of ChicagoBears.com has also expressed admiration for Georgia Tech’s Tashard Choice as a possible second- or third-round pick.
